Knowledge test prep, no FMCSA filing needed

Doubles and Triples (T) Endorsement Course

Who needs it: drivers adding the T endorsement (pulling two or three trailers). What it gets you: passing the DMV doubles/triples knowledge test.

LTL carriers and the big parcel fleets want the T endorsement. Like tanker, T has no federal training requirement, just a DMV knowledge test. This course walks the coupling, uncoupling and handling material from the CDL manual so you pass it first try.

  • No FMCSA requirement - pure test prep
  • Coupling and uncoupling order, converter dollies, crack-the-whip
  • About one hour online
  • Written from CDL manual section 7
$20 one time

Questions drivers ask

Can I get the T endorsement in California without training?

Yes, only the knowledge test is required. Most drivers still take a short prep course because the coupling sequence questions trip people up.

The behind-the-wheel half happens at Nixon

Theory gets you the permit. Our trucks and instructors in Pomona get you the license. Standard is $2,000 for 15 hours with the DMV test trip included, $300 down.
